Frequently asked questions

Informed clients make confident decisions. Here are honest answers to the questions we’re asked most – and your free consultation is always the perfect time to ask more.

01

General

Yes. Every new client has a free consultation and patch test at least 48 hours before their first treatment. It lets us check your suitability, choose the right settings for your skin and reduce the risk of any adverse reaction.

Everyone is different, and results vary from person to person. Laser hair removal, tattoo removal and SPMU removal all work best as a course of sessions spaced several weeks apart. We’ll give you an honest, realistic estimate at your consultation.

Most clients describe a warm snapping feeling – a little like a tiny elastic band – with mild heat. Slight redness for a few hours afterwards is normal. We’ll talk you through what to expect and check in with you throughout.

Shave the area 24 hours before and avoid waxing, plucking or epilating between sessions. Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds and fake tan on the area beforehand. We’ll give you full preparation and aftercare advice when you book.

Our prices are “from” prices. The final price can vary with the size of the area and, for laser hair removal, hair density – it’s always confirmed at your consultation before anything is booked.

Send us a booking request with photos of the area or work required, call or message us on 07383 596090, or book a consultation online. We’re open by appointment only.

02

Laser hair removal

Most people need a course of sessions, as laser only treats hair in its active growth phase. The number depends on the area, your hair and skin type and hormones – we’ll give you an honest estimate at your consultation.

Shave the area 24 hours before, and avoid waxing, plucking, threading or epilating during your course. Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds and fake tan on the area before treatment.

Most clients describe a warm snapping feeling with mild heat, and slight redness for a few hours afterwards. Your specialist will check in with you throughout.

Yes – any two small or medium areas receive 15% off their combined original prices, and any two large or extra large areas receive 20% off.

03

Tattoo removal

It depends on the size, ink colours, depth and age of the tattoo, and on your skin. Most tattoos need several sessions spaced weeks apart – we’ll give you an honest estimate at your consultation.

Yes. Many clients choose a few sessions to lighten a tattoo so their artist has a better base for new work.

A temporary white reaction on the skin straight after a session is normal and usually settles within minutes to hours. We’ll explain everything you can expect during healing.

Keep the area clean and dry, don’t pick any blisters or scabs, and protect it from the sun. You’ll receive full aftercare advice after every session.

04

SPMU & PMU removal

Laser can help lighten or remove most semi-permanent brow pigment, including microblading and powder brows. Suitability is checked at your consultation.

It depends on the type, colour and depth of the pigment. Several sessions spaced weeks apart are usually needed, and results vary from person to person.

Some pigments change tone as they break down. We’ll explain what to expect for your brows at your consultation and patch test.

05

Carbon facials

No – most clients go straight back to their day. Slight redness for 1–3 hours is normal.

A typical plan is 4–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions.

It can help control acne by killing bacteria, clearing congested pores and temporarily reducing oil production – but it isn’t a cure.

06

Pigmentation

Not always – some types of pigmentation need a different approach. That’s why we always start with a consultation.

Pigment usually fades gradually over the weeks after treatment, and some concerns need more than one session. Results vary from person to person.

Yes – daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential before and after treatment to protect your skin and your results.

07

Teeth whitening

Around an hour for a full treatment, or 45 minutes for a top-up.

It depends on your lifestyle – coffee, tea, red wine and smoking can all re-stain teeth. Top-ups help keep your smile bright. Results vary from person to person.

It isn’t suitable for everyone – for example during pregnancy. We’ll check your suitability before treatment.
